TROSA Productions
In early 2007, Ken Gasch, a Durham artist, approached TROSA with a question: could residents of their program help him make his creations, and in doing so help start up a new business that will provide financial support to TROSA? Ken had been building his machines under the name of HLD Productions for several years and felt his creations could be used to do more than just brighten people's days. Ken generously donated his time and, more importantly, his creativity to TROSA and the result is the machines you see on display here, built by recovering substance abusers participating in the TROSA program. All of the work is entirely hand-made in our workshop in Durham, North Carolina.
